MANNER (Pre-School) embodies a unique blend of British curricula, centered around exploration and learning through play. Guided by experienced facilitators, students discover their strengths, transforming them into positive, motivated learners. Students will participate in a holistic education, and can further their interests and talents through the wide variety of activities we offer. At Pre-School, the aim is to build confidence and independence, preparing students for the transition to primary school and for the global age. Typically for 2 to 5 year old. The curriculum frameworks provide comprehensive learning objectives. These provide a structure for teaching and learning and a reference against which learners’ progress and understanding can be checked.

Programs Subject Assessment

MANNER (Primary Education Program) provides opportunities and platforms for students’ potential development. Through a broad range of academic and co-curricular experiences, students develop into confident and compassionate individuals; ready to contribute to society and the world. MANNER adopts Cambridge primary school syllabus and curriculum for core subjects, namely English, Mathematics and Science. At the end of Grade 6, students will take the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint which gives valuable feedback on students’ strengths and weaknesses before they progress to the next stage of education. Subject offerings:

i. Khmer, English, and Chinese

ii. Mathematics, Sciences, Information and Communication Technology

iii. Art, Music, and Social Studies

iv. Character and Leadership Education and Physical Education

Typically for 6 to 12 year old. The curriculum frameworks provide comprehensive learning objectives. These provide a structure for teaching and learning and a reference against which learners’ progress and understanding can be checked. Develops the skills, knowledge and understanding that will prepare learners for a smooth transition to Cambridge Lower Secondary or Junior High School in Cambodia.

A six-stage program that provides curriculum frameworks, support materials and assessment for each of the following subjects:

  • English
  • English as a second language
  • mathematics
  • science
  • Cambridge Global Perspectives.

The curriculum frameworks are divided into content areas called ‘strands’. For English, for example, the strands include reading, writing, and speaking and listening. Additionally, Cambridge ICT Starters can be integrated into the Primary program.

An optional testing structure, with assessments that provide an international benchmark enabling teachers to:

  • identify learner strengths and weaknesses, both for individual learners and class groups, and use the information to help inform teaching
  • provide learners with a statement of achievement if they choose to do Cambridge Primary Checkpoint at the end of their primary schooling.

Cambridge Primary Progression Tests From stage 3 to stage 6 of the curriculum in English, English as a second language, mathematics and science. Can be given when the teacher feels the class is ready. Marked by teachers in school.

MANNER Secondary School Program (Full Day Program)

MANNER (Junior High School) provides opportunities and platforms for students to develop their leadership skills through a wide variety of co-curricular activities, whilst preparing students to sit for the Junior High School examination. MANNER offers a unique blend of the Singapore Secondary Curriculum and Cambridge Secondary Curriculum at Grades 7-9, drawing strengths from both systems to create a curriculum that prepares students to be future-ready. At Grade 8, students will sit for Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint. Students who meet the criteria will be able to be considered for Cambridge International Certificate in Education (ICE) award. Subject offerings:

  1. Khmer, English, Chinese
  2. Mathematics, General Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ICT
  3. Khmer, English and Chinese Literature, History, Geography, Economics, Business Studies, Art, and Music
  4. Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Management Education, Sports

Typically for 13 to 16 year old. The curriculum frameworks provide comprehensive learning objectives. These build on the foundations of Cambridge Primary and help learners to progress smoothly to Cambridge Upper Secondary.

A three-stage program that provides curriculum frameworks, support materials and assessment for each of the following subjects:

  • English

  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Cambridge Global Perspectives.

Cambridge Lower Secondary Progression Tests

Tests are available for each stage of the curriculum in English, English as a second language, mathematics and science. Can be given when the teacher feels the class is ready. Marked by teachers in school. Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint

Cambridge provides diagnostic tests for the end of the Lower Secondary program for English, English as a second language, mathematics and science. We mark the tests and give feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of each learner. Cambridge Lower Secondary Global Perspectives is assessed through a Research Report. Teachers mark this and we moderate it.

ICT Starters is assessed through modules that teachers mark and we moderate.
